Isolation is a familiar word to those in the pit. Whether inflicted or perceived, isolation is crippling to God’s invitation to build something deeper and stronger out of the pit experience. (Read You’re in The Pit: Three things to do while you’re there.)
Through relationships, time, vision and grace can be offered to help you answer God’s invitation to create something new and stronger in you AND get you out of the pit.
So who is the person who can provide…
Time to be by your side as God does His work in you? This individual journeys alongside you as you process the pit experience.
Vision to see what could be on the other side of the pit and what God is leading you to? This person reminds you of what could be.
Grace as you process and do the hard work of rebuilding?
If you are in the pit now seek out a relationship that can offer these things. As a leader, provide time, vision and grace to those you lead when they are in a pit experience.
PLI knows that every leader goes through the pit, often feeling isolated and alone in the process. Encouraging and empowering relationships are built in our ongoing coaching between each immersion. Here we provide time, vision and grace to breakdown isolation and fear and build new hope and new courage.
